As part of the Short Track Night of Champions at the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Show, three of the champions from Humberstone Speedway were honored for their accomplishments.
Gary Lindberg accepted honors for the Sportsmen Championship, thanking his crew and sponsors.
“They do all the hard work to get me there,” he commented. “So thanks to them for all their hardwork.”
After a dominating season, Jason Fontaine accepted honors for the Street Stock Championship.
“ We came out with the new crate motor package in the car, and the car was definitely unbeatable,” he shared. “I think in the first nine weeks, we won seven races so hopefully we run a bunch of races this year.”
Lastly, Evan Curtis accepted honors for the Mini Stock Championship, saying that it was a great season.
“We had a lot of fun and competition between there and Merritiville (Speedway),” Curtis said. “Great racing and thanks to my dad.”
