  1. Nascar has become a joke as far as being a sport, The France family should have been forced out years ago with the way they change the rules to suit there favorite teams. I have watched this sport did for the last 10 years and was a fan for the last 40 but i’m sick of the flavor of the day running of this Sport.

    1. Explain a rule that has been put in place to “suit their favourite teams” because as far as I can see, there’s no rule that suits a certain driver or team.

      Thanks for stopping by :)

  2. They control some outcomes I’ll bet Gordon gets the pole Hendricks is in France’s back pocket amaseing how many caution flags for debris u never see depends on who is leading racing is just follow the leader just look in the stands wake up nascar

    1. Most of the times, you actually do the debris as the broadcast partners have gotten better in showing that footage this year in comparison to past seasons. As far as Rick Hendrick paying off Brian France so Jeff Gordon gets the pole, I guess Gordon’s past stats at Homestead and the fact that HMS has been running strong as an organization these last four or five races, knocking off their summer slump, don’t mean anything. “Racing is just follow the leader” – there was passing at Phoenix, and there has been passing at other tracks this year. By your logic, you’re saying that NASCAR should be penalized for when a team figures out the set-up better than the others, hits the sweet spot and dominates.

  3. Didn’t a certain Brian France try to influence finish of race a few years ago? Seems he wanted a caution called so a certain driver wouldn’t win. What say Mike Helton?

    1. Once again, it’s nothing of a claim without naming the race and exact scenario, and full bulletproof back-up.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

  4. In the early 1970’s, my ex husband and I went to Atlanta to a race. After the race, we went down to the infield to speak to some of the drivers. We talked with one driver(I will not name)my ex asked him if the race was fixed, he smiled and walked away. So what would you think?

    1. Once again, there’s no proof in whether that is happening in this day and age, as I have commented to the others.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your story, though.

  5. While there is no so-called “evidence” you want us to produce, Ms. McCubbin, but after watching too many races and seeing certain teams get all the breaks or advantages, NASCAR has become a big joke as far as I’m concerned. I stopped really watching years ago after i got sick and tired of NASCAR’s favoritism. Much of NASCAR’s favoritism is unspoken, but it’s there despite your mantra that it isn’t. You choose to see what you want to see, while many of us see the truth.

    1. I don’t choose to see anything in paticular, to be honest. I watch the whole general picture – no matter the type of caution, and how it affects each team, whether positive or negative. While you instill there’s a pattern in what happens, that is a pattern that has yet to remain seen.
