Kaz Grala Moving to XFINITY with JGL Racing, Ford in 2018

Following a successful rookie campaign during the 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season, Massachusetts youngster Kaz Grala will contest Rookie of the Year honors in the NASCAR XFINITY Series in 2018, driving for JGL Racing.

JGL Racing, which fielded Toyotas for Dakoda Armstrong for most of the 2017 season, will make the switch to Ford next year in a technical alliance with Roush Fenway Racing.

Grala will drive the No. 24 Ford for the team.

JGL Racing released Armstrong from driving duties shortly after the NASCAR Playoffs began, citing Armstrong’s sponsor Winfield not paying the bills. The team has also fielded cars for Jeb Burton, Scott Lagasse, Jr., Dylan Lupton, Drew Herring and others throughout the season.

Grala will look to carry over momentum from a strong season in the Truck Series which included a win at Daytona International Speedway for GMS Racing at the beginning of the 2017 season.
