James Bickford will be returning to the cockpit on the west coast to run the Pacific Challenge Series on June 23rd at Shasta Speedway, located in Anderson, California in a partnership with Matt Scott, who finished 10th in the 2017 Pacific Challenge Series points standings.
Bickford is a veteran of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West with 27 career starts and two victories, one each in 2014 and 2015. Along for the ride on the No.35 car with Bickford will be new sponsors Slidebelts and Kamps Propane.
Bickford will be running a limited schedule with Scott, beginning at the Shasta Fair race on June 23rd. Bickford’s last trip to Shasta was in 2015 in the K&N Pro Series West. Bickford qualified and finished second after leading a large portion of the race.
“I am incredibly excited to be back behind the wheel of a stock car and to be partnered with such amazing brands as Slidebelts and Kamps Propane,” Bickford says.
Scott is a veteran of the Pacific Challenge Series, with 16 starts in the series over the last five seasons, and nine top-five finishes in that span.
