Just a note, Benson was let go by Red Horse Racing, not Thorsport. <br /><br />The Trucks are in trouble. The series lost touch with its roots in the 90&#39;s. When the manufacturers left, it was the punch that hurt all the teams. West coast trips are too expensive for low budget teams &amp; the purse money does not match the cost to run each week.<br /><br />What NASCAR needs to do first is modify the schedule. Take away Fontana, Phoenix, both Texas races, and Chicago. Add Richmond, Darlington, &amp; Rockingham. Add in 2 road courses: Watkins Glen &amp; Lime Rock Park. Make them go to Memphis, Iowa, Gateway, Nashville, &amp; Kentucky the same weekend as the Nationwide series for greater attendance instead of going alone.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
