OPR Staff and Fan Fantasy Pick Results for NNS at Iowa Speedway

On Sunday, Sam Hornish Jr. was able to get victory lane and validate himself as a top-tier driver despite being let go from Team Penske at the end of last season. Without a doubt, it was a special win for the driver of the No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota.

Now who is the person who won out of the pickers? It’s time to tabulate the results.

 

The Picks

Ashley McCubbin chose Regan Smith, Chase Elliott and Elliott Sadler. The JRM teammates continued their consistancy, finishing third and fourth respectively, while Sadler finished fifth. Points: 41+40+39=120

Marshall Gabell chose Chase Elliott, Michael McDowell and Sam Hornish Jr. McDowell finished a solid seventh after leading three laps. Points: 40+37+48=125

Tayler Stiles chose Regan Smith, Chase Elliott and Elliott Sadler. Points: 41+40+39=120

Kreistina Blinova chose Jeffrey Earnhardt, Landon Cassill and Elliott Sadler. Earnhardt finished 23rd while Cassill finished a beautiful 10th for his small team. Points: 21+34+39=74

Kyle Magda chose Trevor Bayne, Sam Hornish Jr. and Chase Elliott. Bayne would finish ninth as he keeps his string of top 10s going. Points: 35+48+40=123
