By: Ashley McCubbin — Racing against some of the best mini stock drivers in Ontario, Brian Love would finish 18th in the 25-lap feature event on Saturday night.

Love kicked off the night finishing fourth in the first heat after starting ninth, before finishing 11th in the Dash for Cash event.

As a result of his qualifying effort, Love would start his No. 04 Fox’s Bakery and Deli, Eckhart Auto Sales, Tire Depot Barrie, The Stone Grille Restaurant and Bar, Chico Bins + Disposal and Garry Mercer Trucking Incorporated Honda Civic in the 15th position. Though by lap 13, Love had fallen to the 18th spot in the running order.

Love would continue to race hard, falling down a lap to the leaders with seven to go, before crossing the line in the 18th position.

Love commented after the race that after fighting with keeping the motor running last week, he was glad that those gremlins were worked out this week. He added that now the goal is to tweak on the handling to get the car better.
