World leading IPTV, Digital Signage and Video Streaming solutions manufacturer, Tripleplay, has been selected by Daytona International Speedway (DIS) to deliver live streaming content, communications, digital menus and interactive TV services to 1,400 screens around its new motorsports stadium. Additionally, Tripleplay becomes the latest partner to join the Daytona Technology Platform Powered by CDW.
The Daytona Technology Platform Powered by CDW is designed specifically for companies supporting the technological advances at the new motorsports stadium. Participation in the Platform also enables them to showcase their involvement through an onsite marketing presence.
“Tripleplay is providing valuable solutions to help us deliver a great fan experience,” said Daytona International Speedway President Joie Chitwood III. “Their technology is an ideal fit for our new stadium and we’re thrilled to have them join our team.”
Screens will be located within hospitality and corporate suites with integration into AMX control systems, concession stands and retail units for product promotion and live digital menu boards, infield video display boards and stadium concourses for live race playback and advertising.
Tripleplay Executive Vice President for North America, Paul Harris commented, “Working with such an iconic name as Daytona International Speedway is not only a great honor for the business but also a fantastic seal of approval for our technology in the US sports industry.”
“The scope of the Tripleplay solution here is phenomenal, it is designed to deliver to every part of the stadium and to every spectator; enhancing the experience and ensuring maximum revenue generation opportunities for Daytona International Speedway. We look forward to building our relationship with the team here and delivering a spectacular experience for every fan who enters this 101,500 seat stadium.”

About Daytona International Speedway

Daytona International Speedway is the home of “The Great American Race” – the DAYTONA 500. Though the season-opening NASCAR Sprint Cup event garners most of the attention – as well as the largest audience in motorsports – the approximately 500-acre motorsports complex boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on the globe, thus earning it the title of “World Center of Racing.” In addition to eight major weekends of racing activity, the Speedway will host the inaugural Country 500 – The Great American Music Fest at DAYTONA over Memorial Day Weekend in 2016. Rarely a week goes by that the Speedway grounds are not used for events that include civic and social gatherings, car shows, photo shoots, production vehicle testing and police motorcycle training.
